<p>A mobile communication system and an overload control method are provided to solve the overload state by considering overload causing elements when overload occurs at a mobile switching center or an RNC(Radio Network Controller). A communication unit(31) receives an outgoing call setup request and an incoming call setup request, and a storage unit(33) stores the number of added outgoing call setup requests, the number of added incoming call setup requests and the number of overall call setup requests. A call controller(32) transmits an overload control message to a base station controller through the communication unit.</p> |
