WASTE OF BALLAST TANK REMOVING APPARATUS IN A SHIP

A sediment removing apparatus for a ballast tank of a ship is provided to remove sediment in a wider range by moving a nozzle in order to give directivity to the water ejected from the nozzle. A sediment removing apparatus for a ballast tank of a ship comprises a main pipe(112), a pair of first and second auxiliary pipes, and a nozzle. The main pipe is installed along a ballast tank(110) from the stern to the bow of a ship(100). The first and second auxiliary pipes are branched from the main pipe on each wing tank(120) of laminating structure in the ballast tank. The nozzle is installed along the first and second auxiliary pipes to remove sediment accumulated in the wing tank from different directions.
