An emergency call service providing method and an apparatus for the same are provided to transmit a call to a destination terminal even when the destination terminal is not activated for a correspondent service. An interface unit(710) receives a request signal that requests a call between an originating terminal and a destination terminal, and a determining unit(750) judges an emergency call service availability state. A controller(720) transmits a paging signal to the destination terminal through an interface, and transmits a ring-back tone to the originating terminal. |
