OPTICAL TRANSMITTER FOR OPTIMIZING AN INPUT DC BIAS VOLTAGE OF OPTICAL MODULATOR WITH DUO-BINARY MODULATION AND METHOD THEREOF

An optical transmitter for optimizing an input DC bias voltage of an optical modulator with duo-binary modulation and a method thereof are provided to stabilize the transmission signal format and output power of an optical modulator. An optical modulator(100) adopts a duo binary method, and a sign wave generator(200) generates a sign signal with a DC bias voltage inputted to the optical modulator. A bias voltage corrector(300) corrects an electric signal outputted by being electrically converted after being modulated in the optical modulator.
