LIQUID CRYSTAL COMPOSITION AND LIQUID CRYSTLAL DISPLAY DEVICE HAVING THE SAME

A liquid crystal composition is provided to improve response time of a liquid crystal display and to realize low voltage operation due to great dielectric anisotropy and low rotational viscosity. A liquid crystal composition comprises 1-15% of at least one compound of chemical formula 1; 30-50% of at least one compound of chemical formula 2; 5-20% of a compound of chemical formula 3; 4-12% of a compound of chemical formula 4; 10-20% of a compound of chemical formula 5; 0-20% of a compound of chemical formula 6; and 4-20% of a compound of chemical formula 7. In chemical formulas, X is C3-5 aliphatic group and Y is C1 or C2 aliphatic group.
