REDUCING FURNACE AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING MOLTEN IRON COMPRISING THE SAME

A reduction furnace and a molten metal manufacturing device employing the same are provided to evenly spray iron-containing material into the reduction furnace in order to secure working safety. A reduction furnace(20) reduces iron-containing material to be used to manufacture molten metal. The reduction furnace comprises an inlet(22), a first guide plate(52) and a second guide plate(54). The iron-containing material is inputted through the inlet. The first guide plate is inclined in a first direction within the reduction furnace. The first guide plate guides the iron-containing material into the reduction furnace. The second guide plate is inclined in a second direction intersecting the first direction within the reduction furnace. The second guide plate guides the dropping iron-containing material guided by the first guide plate. Owing to the second guide plate, the dropping direction of the dropping iron-containing material is changed.
