<p>Embodiments of the present invention provide an electric motor for use in a rate table. The electric motor may include a housing, a stator mounted on the housing and having an inner diameter surrounding an inner opening, a plurality of spring loaded bushes mounted on an upper surface of the stator, each of the plurality of spring loaded bushes extending at least partially into the inner opening; and a rotor having an outer diameter less than the inner diameter of the stator, and a tapered lower portion, such that the tapered lower portion contacts each of the plurality of bushes causing the bushes to retract when the rotor is inserted into the inner opening of the stator. Embodiments of the present invention also include a rate table incorporating the electric motor.</p> |
