<p>A broadcast transceiver and a broadcast signal processing method are provided to group and transmit a plurality of enhanced data packets, thereby improving the receiving ability of a receiving system. A DTV(Digital Television) broadcast signal is received. A broadcasting transmitter performs the additional error correcting coding of enhanced data. A plurality of data groups are formed by combining the enhanced data and transmission parameters. The enhanced data forming the data groups and normal data are multiplexed. Only data groups which a user requests among the plurality of data groups are received by switching off the power source of a broadcasting receiver based on the transmission parameters.</p> |
