<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce equipment costs and raise reliability. <P>SOLUTION: A material to be treated is desulfurized by a desulfurizing material while being burned in a desulfurizing furnace 1, and exhaust gas from the furnace 1 is introduced to a desulfurizing device 5 to cause an adsorbent to adsorb SOx in the exhaust gas. The adsorbent in the desulfurizing device 5 is taken out and heated and regenerated in a desorbing device 7, and simultaneously SOx is desorbed from the adsorbent as a desorption gas. The desorption gas is returned to the desulfurizing furnace 1 through a desorption gas line L1. The desorption gas is desulfurized by the desulfurizing material in the desulfurizing furnace 1. A byproduct collection unit becomes unnecessary. The desorption gas line L1 is heated by a heating means 8 to a temperature higher than the dew point of sulfuric acid so that sulfuric acid is prevented from being formed to inhibit a hole and other defects from being made in the line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
