PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus highly precisely correcting cross-talk, thereby preventing deterioration of an image. SOLUTION: An image signal formed on a CCD 103 is converted into an electric signal and then read out for each of right and left areas obtained by bisecting an imaging plane of the CCD 103, an output signal in the left half area is output to a buffer 104A, and an output signal in the right half area is output to a buffer 104B. The output signals are converted from analog signals to digital signals thereafter by A/D conversion units 106A, 106B, respectively, cross-talk is corrected by a cross-talk correction unit 107, the bisected signals are then synthesized by a synthesizing unit 108 and sent to camera signal processing 109.
