PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate eccentricity in the amount of photographing of a subject for each of a plurality of photographic scenes. SOLUTION: A digital camera 1 includes: a photographing means which photographs an subject within a photographic range to obtain image data; a first storage means for storing the amount of photographing of each person appearing in each of a plurality of photographic scenes; a detection means for detecting a current photographic scene; a measurement means for measuring the amount of photographing of the subject within the photographic range; a photographing control means which controls the photographing means, in the case where there is a subject of which the measured amount of photographing is below a predetermined lower limit value, so as to photograph only the subject; and a storage control means for storing in the first storage means the measured amount of photographing as the amount of photographing of the person appearing in the detected photographic scene.
