PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device for recognizing an outline of a positional relationship between facilities of a service area or a parking area and one's own vehicle position. SOLUTION: When a vehicle enters a service area 32, an outline map 40 of the service area 32 is displayed along with a map 30 around the own vehicle position on a display screen of a display monitor 16 with divided screens. In the outline map 40, facilities of the service area such as a shopping center and toilets, a parking lot and the like are simplified and displayed. An own vehicle position mark 41 is displayed at a position corresponding to the own vehicle position of the outline map 40. Information 50 such as event information and special local product information of the service area 32 is displayed on the display screen, and information 60 such as event information and special local product information of the service area 32 is output from a speaker with sound.
