PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an method for continuously producing a polycarbonate resin, which is based on an interfacial method and improved so that a reaction solvent can be supplied in an amount corresponding to the loss amount of the reaction solvent by a simple process. SOLUTION: The method for producing the polycarbonate resin includes a reaction process for subjecting continuously supplied aqueous alkali solution of a dihydroxy compound and carbonyl chloride to interfacial polycondensation in the presence of the reaction solvent and a plurality of reaction solvent-accompanying processes each connected to the reaction process and treating a substance flow accompanied with the reaction solvent, wherein the reaction solvent is recovered from the reaction process and the plurality of reaction solvent-accompanying processes and circulated to the reaction process, and at the same time, the reduced amount of the reaction solvent from the initial stage of an operation for producing the polycarbonate resin is calculated for the total amount of the reaction solvent recovered from each reaction solvent-accompanying process, and the reduced amount of the reaction solvent is supplied into the process.
