PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a product tends to have oily smell caused by oil applied to noodle strings, and that the noodle strings are easily entangled during working processes. SOLUTION: A device for storing noodle strings is provided. The device is equipped with a convey device for conveying the noodle strings delivered from a molding device for thinly molding the noodle strings to a storage vessel, and an oil application device for applying oil to the noodle strings delivered from the convey device to the storage vessel. In the device, a twisting means for twisting the noodle strings delivered from the molding device is installed to constitute the convey device. Also, a relaxation sensor for detecting a state in which the noodle strings are suspended by leaving from the tension roller and move to the lowering threshold, and a molding device-regulating circuit for stopping the molding device when the relaxation sensor detects the movement of the noodle strings to the lowering threshold, subsequently restarting the molding device when the noodle strings raise to a position above a range detected by the relaxation sensor are installed to constitute the device.
