The present invention aims to provide coated printing paper having good printing quality combined with the property of decomposing hazardous substances upon exposure to light and resistance to fading. Coated printing paper comprising a coating layer containing a pigment and an inorganic adhesive and an organic adhesive on a base paper, wherein the coating layer contains 1-30 parts by weight of titanium dioxide having an average secondary particle diameter of 300-2000 nm per 100 parts by weight of the pigment and the coated paper has a PPS roughness of 0.5-5.0 mum.
