A mass transit vehicle includes one or a combination of the following: floor portions (14, 16, and 18) that are angled (36, 38, and 40) for creating an incline of a floor of the buss; a door (54) or entranceway (50) that is angled relative to a fore-aft axis of the vehicle; and/or an entranceway (50) that opens a relatively low height relative to the ground.
