The method involves forming a rubber-like elastic layer (3) on a clearance hole in a bag wall (1) in a region of an inflow opening (2), before heat-sealing of bag walls with each other, where clearance hole has small diameter and concentric with the inflow opening. A boundary area (5) of the clearance hole forms a sealing, where the boundary area is formed by the rubber like-elastic layer and the sealing that projects in a flow through opening (8) in a holding flange (7) of the produced dust filter bag. An independent claim is also included for a dust filter bag comprising an inflow opening.
