An audio signal output control section (12a) extracts audio signals having low- and high-band components from an audio signal. A sound-image localizing filter section (13a) localizes the sound image of the audio signal having the low band component. The audio signal having the low band component the sound image of which is localized is outputted as sound from speakers (11a, 11b) of an AV rack speaker device (10). A television sound-image localizing filter section (14a) localizes the sound image of the audio signal having the high-band component. The audio signal having the high-band component the sound image of which is localized is outputted as sound from speakers (21a, 21b) of a television (20) through HDMI communication sections (15, 22).
