<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction machine enabling a person to check the circumference of a vehicle body at the time of starting work and to start a prime mover even if an obstacle is present in the circumference of the vehicle body. <P>SOLUTION: The construction machine comprises a screen display control means including a screen switching means 22 for switching the screen of a monitor unit 13 to a circumference image information screen based on an image signal of a monitor camera 12 on the basis of an ON signal outputted from an engine key switch device 16 and an engine start delaying means including a storage section 19 having a set time set in advance of keeping the circumference image information screen displayed after the ON signal is outputted, a screen display time judging means 23 for making a judgment on whether the display time of the circumference image information screen displayed on the monitor unit 13 reaches the set time and an engine start control means 21 for executing control of keeping an engine 8 inhibited from starting on the basis of the ON signal and allowing the engine 8 to be started according to the result of the judgment by the screen display time judging means 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
