<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control device capable of making inconspicuous jaggies formed at a counter portion of a character etc., without performing complicated arithmetic processing. <P>SOLUTION: With respect to an OSD plane 8 displaying a figure 8a, translucent OSD planes (9 to 12) are moved vertically and horizontally by a distance equal to the predetermined number of pixels, and the translucent OSD planes (9 to 12) having been moved and the OSD plane 8 are synthesized.
