<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems wherein the detection result of the conventional perimeter does not reflect the shape of the scotoma and the blind spots faithfully, thereby incapable of detecting glaucomatous scotoma and the perimetry is monotonous and takes a long time, thereby possibly causing an error reaction of a subject. <P>SOLUTION: This full-field retinal function scanning program allow a computer to quickly function as a perimeter or a retinal visual function testing device. The test result is sequentially turned into a two-dimensional clear scan image of gray scale display and displays it even during the test so as to reduce the monotonous of the perimetry. This test method alternately uses two-point optotypes so as to dynamically increase the test speed in an eccentric vision and statically increase the detail of the test in the macula. The scan image is generated by cumulatively using the horizontal and longitudinal tests. This program can perform an objective and detailed test more than the conventional perimeter so as to detect the glaucomatous scotoma which cannot be detected by the conventional perimeter and scan and display the visual function level of a visual function lessening field in an intuitively intelligible state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
