<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach a reflection type optical sensor to a side wall face of a carriage formed of a resin by injection molding in a simple structure such that the optical sensor is inclined with respect to a direction perpendicular to a detection face of the optical sensor at an small angle. <P>SOLUTION: Two first projections 231, 231 and one second projection 232 for defining an inclination of the reflection type optical sensor 401 in the vertical direction are provided on the side wall face 230 of the carriage 23. The first projections 231, 231 are provided at respective vertical positions having the same height from the detection face as a reference and the second projection 232 is provided at a vertical position higher than the vertical position of the first projection 231 on the basis of the detection face as a reference. The second projection 232 has a first part 232a whose height from the side wall face 230 is greater than that of the first projection 231 and a second part 232b whose height from the side wall face 230 is smaller than that of the first projection 232a. A screw hole 234 that allows a fastening member (a screw) 459 for fixing the optical sensor 401 to be threaded thereinto is provided on the second part 232b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
