PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling and heating apparatus, preventing generation of abnormal sound and deterioration of starting performance of a compressor by maintaining pressure balance in a refrigerant circuit even when the supply of power is stopped. SOLUTION: The refrigerant circuit 50 is provided with a bypass passage capable of circulating a refrigerant between a passage on a third radiator 42 side of a third solenoid valve 54c and a passage on a compressor 41 side of the third solenoid valve 54c when the first to third solenoid valves 54a, 54b, 54c are closed, whereby even when the supply of power is stopped, pressure balance between the upstream side and the downstream side of the first to third solenoid valves 54a, 54b, 54c in the refrigerant circuit 50 can be maintained to prevent generation of noise and deterioration of starting performance of the compressor 41.
