PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc rotor for suppressing the occurrence of braking noises. SOLUTION: The disc rotor 210 comprises a pair of outer side sliding plate 212 and inner side sliding plate 214 to be clamped by a brake pad, a plurality of fins radially arranged between the outer side sliding plate 212 and the inner side sliding plate 214, and a hat part 216 provided concentrically with the outer side sliding plate 212 and the inner side sliding plate 214 and adapted to be mounted on a vehicle side hub. The outer side sliding plate 212 is shaped so that its radial width is changed with its circumferential phase. The outer side sliding plate 212 has a recessed portion 224 near a connection portion to an annular side face portion 220 on the surface of a region S where its radial width is larger than the radial width of the inner side sliding plate 214 in the same phase.
