PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thrust roller bearing wherein lubricant filled in a bearing part is securely held without leaking for sufficiently lubricating the bearing part. SOLUTION: The thrust roller bearing comprises a first race ring 2 in an annular shape having a flange portion 4 on one side of an annular plate portion 3, a second race ring 5 having a flange portion 7 on the other side of an annular plate portion 6 and arranged in opposition to the first bearing ring 2, and a cage 10 having a plurality of pockets 12 in an annular portion 11 for holding rolling elements 15, and stored between the first and second race rings 2, 5, wherein the lubricant is sealed in a region 19 encircled by the first and second race rings 2, 5. Ring-shaped seal members 16a, 16b having elastic lips 16c, 16d are fitted into opening portions 8a, 8b formed between the first and second race rings 2, 5, respectively, to seal them.
