PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building wall material which is composed of a laminated plate material having the high strength of breadthwise and longitudinal jointing between plate materials. SOLUTION: This building wall material comprises: a plurality of wall plate component members 2 in which a recess 3a and a protrusion 3b, formed in such a shape as to be mutually fitted together in a vertical direction, and a joint groove 6, penetrating throughout a longitudinal direction, are formed on at least partial opposed surfaces of both width-direction side surfaces of a longitudinal plate material; and a joint member 5 which is composed of a longitudinal plate material tightly fitted into the joint groove 6 with both width-direction side portions vertically facing each other. The laminated plate material 1 for a wall is formed by mutually fitting the recess 3a and the protrusion 3b, facing each other, of the wall plate component members 2, and fitting both the width-direction side portions of the joint member 5 into the opposed joint grooves 6, respectively.
