PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing bleached alkali chemical pulp comprising using a lignocellulose material as a raw material, and having a bleaching step using neither elementary chlorine nor hypochlorous acid after an alkali digestion step in relation to the method for producing the bleached alkali chemical pulp having an acid treating step, and a bleaching step in the order after the alkali digestion step, and to provide the method for producing the bleached alkali chemical pulp by which the maintenance of pulp paper strength, an improvement in removal ratio of HexA (hexenuronic acid) groups, and a reduction of Kappa number can be carried out in the acid treating step. SOLUTION: The method for producing the bleached alkali chemical pulp comprises using the lignocellulose material as the raw material, and having the bleaching step using neither the elementary chlorine nor the hypochlorous acid after the alkali digestion step. The method has the acid treating step, and the bleaching step in the order after the alkali digestion step.
