In a dermatological preparation (I) containing active agent-supporting particles, the particles are embedded in a polymeric gel matrix. Independent claims are included for: (1) the production of a dermatological preparation, by incorporating active agent-supporting particles in crosslinked hyaluronic acid under homogeneous mixing; and (2) the use of active agent-supporting particles for producing an active agent-containing gel matrix for therapeutic purposes.
