<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device which reduce a use memory size and a processing time on the occasion when image processing of a photographed image obtained by stereoscopic wide angle photographing. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing device 3 is equipped with: an image input means 10 which inputs an image picked up by two cameras C being capable of wide angle photographing of an object M and disposed on a straight line, so as to determine pixel positions of the object M as the information used for detecting the position of the object M from the image picked up by the two cameras C; an image projecting means 30 which projects the image inputted from each camera C, in a state of the distortion being corrected, onto a cylindrical surface having the axis parallel to the straight line whereon the two cameras C are disposed; and a pixel position detecting means 40 which detects the pixel positions corresponding to the object M in the image projected onto the cylindrical surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
