<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas generating agent composition free from causing coloring or the like in the manufacture. <P>SOLUTION: The gas generating agent composition contains (A) fuel, (B) an oxidizing agent, (C) a binder containing a cellulose based compound and (D) an ammonium compound non-reactive with the cellulose based compound, wherein the (D) component is one formed by applying a coating agent non-reactive with the cellulose based compound on the surface of the ammonium compound.
