<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly turn on a warning lamp based on the result of failure decision when a system start instruction is made in a driving system equipped with an engine, an engine ECU for controlling the engine; and a hybrid electronic control unit for controlling the whole system. <P>SOLUTION: When a system start instruction is made, an engine ECU transmits a failure decision flag F based on the failure decision result of an engine to a hybrid electronic control unit. When an elapsed time T exceeds a time Tref obtained by adding the time required for first failure decision by the engine ECU to the time required for communication with the hybrid electronic control unit (steps S200 to S220), the hybrid electronic control unit executes the lighting control of a warning lamp in a crew room by deciding the failure of the engine based on the failure decision flag F (steps S230 to S250). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
