PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a common liquid chamber in such shape that the height of a short head part is made small and air bubbles are prevented from being accumulated in the common liquid chamber when a line type head is constituted by arranging a plurality of short heads. SOLUTION: A plurality of head parts 11 are integrated with a base member 1. The plurality of head parts 11 are respectively provided with a first common liquid chamber portion 3A which constitutes the common liquid chamber 3 supplying ink to respective individual liquid chambers corresponding to a plurality of nozzles for jetting liquid droplets, and an actuator means which generates energy for pressing the liquid in the individual chamber. The base member 1 is provided with a second common liquid chamber portion 3B which is to be combined with the first common liquid chamber portion 3A of the head part 11 so as to constitute the common liquid chamber 3, and then the first common liquid chamber portion 3A of the head part 11 is provided with a straightening part 6 which straightens the flow of liquid flowing from a flow path communicating with the second common liquid chamber portion 3B of the base member 1.
