PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid droplet discharge device which can supply an ink while keeping a high reliability in a production line, despite the adoption of a pit-in system which enables supplying of the ink under an undersize and simple construction. SOLUTION: This liquid droplet discharge device comprises (1) an ink tank, (2) an inkjet head 18 which is connected with the ink tank through a flow path and discharges the ink, (3) an ink supply throat 23 which is connected with the ink tank through the flow path and has an opening surface which is flush with the nozzle face of the inkjet head 18, (4) an airtight member which closes the opening surface of the inkjet supply throat 23, and (5) a common maintenance mechanism which maintains the inkjet head 18 and the ink supply throat 23. The maintenance mechanism is composed of a wiping unit 60 and a wiping blade 61. The wiping blade 61 continuously cleans the nozzle face of the inkjet head 18 and the opening surface of the ink supply throat 23 following the transfer of the wiping unit 60 in an arrow direction after ink supply.
