ELASTOMER COMPOSITION AND SHOCK ABSORBER FOR FOOTWEAR AND RELATED GOODS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastomer composition that has moderate resilience necessary for absorbing a physical impact and moldability in combination with high antibacterial properties and to provide a shock absorber for footwear and related goods that is produced by molding the elastomer composition. SOLUTION: The elastomer composition contains Ag as an antibacterial agent in an amount of 0.1-10 pts.mass based on an elastomer. It is preferable that the elastomer composition includes an olefin elastomer as the elastomer. The shock absorber for footwear and related goods is produced by molding the elastomer composition.
