PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device in which light extraction efficiency of a light-emitting element is improved and viewing angle dependency of emission color is reduced. SOLUTION: The light-emitting device having a resonator structure has a periodic structure. Then, by this periodic structure, when a guiding wave light is diffracted in a direction making an angle larger than 90°and less than 180°between the guiding wave direction of an optical waveguide path in the resonator structure, the diffracted diffraction light has a larger wavelength as the diffraction angle becomes larger.
