METHOD FOR PRODUCING N,N,N',N'-TETRAKIS(AMINO-SUBSTITUTED ARYL)DIAMINOAROMATIC COMPOUND

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for safely producing an N,N,N',N'-tetrakis(N,N-substituted aminoaryl)diaminoaromatic compound in high efficiency even in the case of a large-scale production by exclusively using a raw material and a reaction agent which are easily handleable in commercial processes and available at a low cost. SOLUTION: The N,N,N',N'-tetrakis(N,N-substituted aminoaryl)diaminoaromatic compound is produced by successively performing (a) a step to react a halogenated aromatic amino compound with a compound expressed by RX2to form an N,N-substituted aminoaromatic compound and (b) a step to react the N,N-substituted aminoaromatic compound with a diamino compound in the presence of a group VIII transition metal catalyst.
