PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper money processor for preventing paper money stored in a paper money storage part from being pulled out. SOLUTION: This paper money processor is provided with an insertion port 5 into which paper money is inserted; a paper money storage part 100 for storing paper money inserted from the insertion port 5; an opening 110A for receiving the paper money in the paper money storage part 100 and a pressure board 115 formed to pass through the opening 110A to store paper money in the paper money storage part 100. Then, this paper money processor is provided with a sensor for detecting the paper money inserted into the insertion port 5, so that the pressure board 115 can be moved to regulate the passage of the paper money from the opening 110A till the insertion of the paper money is detected by the sensor.
