PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL light emitting device making a light non-emitting area small. SOLUTION: The organic EL light emitting device 1 includes a plurality of organic EL panels 2 and a holding plate 3 for holding the organic EL panels 2. The organic EL panel 2 includes a substrate 5 and an organic EL element 6 having an organic light emitting layer 12 provided on the substrate 5. The plurality of organic EL panels 2 are arranged on the holding plate 3 so that light emitting areas 51 where the organic light emitting layer 12 is formed may be overlapped each other.
