PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combination balance which selects an optimum combination of which a combination total weight is in an acceptable weight range and is equal to or closest to a target weight value by variously combining weight values of respective articles joining in a field of combination, capable of facilitating selection of a replacing article suitably supplied to the field of the combination in place of an article to be eliminated by adequately specifying the article to be eliminated from the combination when there is no optimum combination so as to improve efficiency of combination weighing operation. SOLUTION: In the field of the combination comprising N units of weighing devices 70, 70 ..., weight values of the respective articles joining in the field of the combination are compared with a reference weight value per article necessary for structuring the optimum combination when there is no optimum combination. In this case, when the weight values of the respective articles are biased to a plus side from a reference weight value as a whole, an article of a maximum weight value is regarded as the article to be eliminated.
