PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid sample holding plate for expanding a liquid sample, without biting air bubbles. SOLUTION: This liquid sample holding plate comprises a substrate 101, an upper cover 202 that is disposed on the substrate 101 and whose surface 203 facing the substrate 101 is coated with liposoluble surfactant, a spacer 201 for forming space 204 for holding a liquid sample between the substrate 101 and the upper cover 202.
