PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of measuring the temperature of a member used at a high temperature for a long time under oxidizing atmosphere, such as in a turbine. SOLUTION: In a temperature measuring method, the material for temperature measurement made of multi-component ceramic solid solution is held at a high temperature for a long time, the multi-component ceramic solid solution is phase-separated into mother phase and deposition phase, the lattice constant of at least one of the mother phase and the deposition phase is measured, and the temperature at which the material for temperature measurement is held is determined based on the lattice constant and the lattice volume obtained from the lattice constant.
