PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for integrating functional DNA having a molecule recognition site with a simple operation and for sensing biological substance, and to provide a recovery method of DNA chain using this. SOLUTION: In the substrate for biological substance sensing, nucleic acid base monomer decorated so that one or more kinds of nucleic acid base monomers selected from adenine, uracil, cytosine and guanine can be fixed to the substrate is integrated as a self-organized monolayer (SAM) on the surface of a two-dimensional substrate.
