PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce pressure loss by preventing exhaust flow from colliding with a wall, to conceal a contaminated inner face, and to prevent intrusion of rainwater. SOLUTION: This vent cap for ventilation is composed of a body cylindrical portion 5 fitted and inserted into a duct 4 disposed in an outer wall 1 of a building, and a shielding portion 7 disposed on an outdoor side end portion of the body cylindrical portion 5. A conical collar 12 is disposed in a state of being projected from an outdoor side opening portion 9 of the body cylindrical portion 5 to an outdoor 3 side. The collar 12 is positioned a front end 13 at the nearly same diameter with the shielding portion 7 or at an inner side with respect to the diameter of the shielding portion 7, and its virtual extension line L in the projecting direction does not intersect the shielding portion 7, thus four effects such as prevention of attachment of dirt to an outer wall surface 1a caused by the exhaust flow, reduction of pressure loss, maintenance of good appearance by concealing the contamination inside of the collar 12, and prevention of intrusion of rainwater, can be achieved.
