PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension wherein a peripheral groove is formed between the internal circumferential surface of a cover part and the outer circumferential surface of one end of a cylinder so as to facilitate manufacture of the suspension. SOLUTION: In the suspension 100, a cap 112 covering the opening in one end of the cylinder 111 is provided with a cover part 145 covering the one end of the cylinder 111. The cap 112 is faced to the outer circumferential surface leaving a small clearance to the outer circumferential surface. An oil chamber 140 of a spring adjuster 102 is formed in a groove 146 of a peripheral shape between the internal circumferential surface of the cover 145 and the outer circumferential surface of the one end of the cylinder 111.
