PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for attaching/detaching an umbrella handle which prevents a handle from easily falling off from an umbrella body and which makes the handle removed with a simple operation so as to prevent an umbrella from being stolen for example. SOLUTION: A lock pin 111 is provided in the shaft 110 of an umbrella body 100; in the receiving hole 210 of an handle 200, an auxiliary cylinder 220 is freely turnably held and also a guide groove 211 is formed, with first energizing means 300 and second energizing means 400 installed in the bottom, and with a cam groove 230 formed in the auxiliary cylinder 220. In attaching the handle 200, the handle 200 is inserted into the umbrella body 100, with the lock pin 111 of the shaft 110 thereby fitted in the guide groove 211 and locked by entering it in the lock pocket of the cam groove 230 against the first and second energizing means 300, 400. In removing the handle 200, the auxiliary cylinder 220 is turned by hand against the second energizing means 400, with the lock pin 111 released from the lock pocket and pushed up in the axial direction with the first energizing means 300 to detach the handle.
