Additives for electrolyte solution of a storage battery and a method for preparing the same are provided to suppress the generation of acidic mist or hazardous gas and to lengthen lifetime of a storage battery. Additives for electrolyte solution of a storage battery comprises concentrated strong acidic ion water obtained by centrifuging, pressurizing and concentrating deep sea water, which has pH 0.1 ~ 1, no residual chlorine, and concentration of 70 ~ 99 weight%; micro carbon particles with average particle diameter 0.01 ~ 5 mum; and water. The content of the carbon particles is 0.01 ~ 5 weight% based on the whole electrolyte additives.
