<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication medium manufactured easily at low cost and high in safety, and a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The authentication medium such as a cash card 10 or a credit card is formed by digitally photographing a flow mark formed when dropping ink in water or a flow mark formed when dropping paint in water or oil, and utilizing a photographed image to form the flow mark on an authentication part 11 by screen printing.
