PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To comparatively safely and precisely perform an operation in the eyeball.
SOLUTION: A coarse motion portion 62 locates a fine motion portion 63 in an appropriate position in a three-dimensional space. The fine motion portion 63 supports a pair of forceps 2 for ophthalmic operation. Furthermore, the fine motion portion 63 rotates the forceps 2 in an appropriate direction by an appropriate angle about an immovable point P existing virtually on the forceps 2 or the extension thereof. For example, the virtual immovable point can be positioned on the surface of the eyeball by driving the coarse motion portion 62. Thereafter, the operation of the inside of the eyeball can be performed by moving the fine motion portion 62 and inserting the ends of the forceps 2 into the eyeball. When the immovable point is positioned on the surface of the eyeball, the forceps 2 can rotate about one point on the surface of the eyeball. Consequently, a port for inserting the forceps formed on the surface of the eyeball is hardly damaged by the forceps.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
