PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for driving DC motors requiring time shared control because adjacent motors share a switching element, capable of increasing the average drive rate of each motor.
SOLUTION: This system for driving DC motors includes: three DC motors 11 to 13 connected in series; switch means 21 to 24 for connecting nodes between the adjacent DC motors and nodes on the both ends in series at a high potential H or a low potential L respectively; and control means 30 for controlling the switch means. The switch means 21 to 24 are controlled so that time shared control is not performed when a driving pattern, in which the respective driving states of the DC motors 11 to 13 are combined, is a simultaneous driving pattern in which all of the DC motors can be simultaneously driven, and so that time share control is performed at the minimum time-sharing quantity when the driving pattern is a non-simultaneous driving pattern in which all of the DC motors cannot be simultaneously driven. This enables the average drive rate to significantly increase from approximately 33.3% in performing simple time sharing control to 76.5%.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
