<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating method of building material having a variety of functions relating to the environment such as mildew resistance, deodorization, antibacterial activity and air purification in addition to anti-staining effect resulting from the excellent hydrophilicity. <P>SOLUTION: The coating method of building material includes a process of coating and drying a coating material including: a hydrophilic polymer which is a mixture of one to five kinds selected from among methyl silicate, water glass, colloidal silica, poly(meth)acrylic acid and polytetrafluoroethylene graft-polymerized with sulfonic acid; and a photocatalyst which is a mixture of at least one kind selected from among titania sol, titanium oxide surface-coated with zeolite, titanium oxide surface-coated with silica and titanium oxide surface-coated with apatite, to form a coated film containing the photocatalyst on the surface of building material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
